Here Are All The Hells Angels Members Arrested This Morning In Quebec

A total of 160 Sûreté du Québec officers mobilized across the province this morning to bring down many Hells Angels-owned illicit drug operations. The Project ORQUE proceeded with 37 search and arrest warrants with a total of 33 arrests made.

Amongst the arrested members are Claude Gauthier and Pascal Facchino, leaders of the Hells Angels in Trois-Rivières and the main narcotics suppliers in the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu region.

These two high-profile members were arrested along with many of their runners, dealers, traffickers, and suppliers.

TL;DR  33 key members of the Hells Angels biker gang were arrested this morning following Project ORQUE, a large-scale operation by the Sûreté du Québec. These province-wide drug raids specifically targeted illicit drug operations throughout the year.

The SQ tweeted the following post this morning after the raids, listing out everyone who was arrested and their functions in the criminal organization.

This morning's drug raids mark the first engagement into curbing the prevalence and sale of illicit drugs in the province.

Quebec is historically a hub for Hells Angels activity in Canada, and they've supplied most of the drug trade within the province.

It's unknown exactly how many Hells Angels-affiliated bikers are in Quebec, but experts say that Quebec is one of the major hubs in Canada for Hells Angels' activities.

From 1994 to 2002, Quebec was the front line of a biker war between the Hells Angels and the Rock Machine motorcycle clubs which claimed over 150 lives. The Sûreté du Québec constantly combats incursions into the province to this day.

With the 33 arrests came the seizure of many important Hells Angels assets such as buildings and vehicles. Furthermore, the SQ also seized

  • 2 kilograms of cocaine
  • 27,000 methamphetamine pills
  • 4 automatic weapons
  • and $120,000

This operation is only the first step in a series of planned actions against illegal drug activities in Quebec.

The SQ will make huge efforts over the course of this year to halt as much drug traffic as possible and will potentially arrest many members of the Hells Angels.

Project ORQUE will focus its efforts in the Montérégie and Outaouais regions in the coming months.

The SQ will release more information throughout the course of the week, so stay tuned for all the updates.
