You Can Get Panoramic Views Of The Fall Colours On The Highest Zip Line In Quebec

Spend your day whipping through the trees.
Highest Zip Line In Quebec Offers Panoramic Views Of The Fall Colours

Get ready to get your zip line action on. This park, less than an hour and a half from Montreal, is one of the best places in Quebec to check out the fall leaves while racing over the treetops.

The Laurentians are one of Quebec's most beautiful areas to visit in September and October and Tyroparc takes full advantage of that with access to zip lines, hiking, and cliff rappelling.

But it's really the zip lines that are a must-try. The zip lines are some of the tallest and longest mega ziplines in Canada, and the highest in eastern North America. There are four main lines that will take you over the Laurentian forests to admire the foliage in between praying for your life.

It's a bit of a walking workout but most anyone can do it. And the views and adrenaline surge are completely worth it!

First, you will be able to admire the maple trees as you hike 850 meters along rocky cliffs to the first zip line that takes you on a 610-meter long adventure to the other side of the mountain. But that's only part of it. The second zip line brings you to the foot of Cap Beauséjour where you hike upwards to the longest zip line of 900 meters. After over a minute of in-air action, the last zip line will take you for your final 650-meter journey.

The whole adventure takes about two and a half hours, but the time really does fly by (ehem).

You don't need much other than a sense of adventure to enjoy the zip lines. But for those who want to put their climbing skills to the test, the Via Ferrata hike is amazing.

The Via Ferrata hike takes place on a rock cliff with metal anchors and steel cables. It's a bit of a mix of hiking and rock climbing. If you make it to the top, you can see the entire area of Ste Agathe-des-Monts.

There are different levels anywhere from beginner to advanced and you will spend some indoor training time before you hit the cliff.

There really is something for everyone at Tyroparc. If you're more of the relaxing poolside type of person, bring a book and laze the fall day away in the Swedish baths, or book a massage.

You can choose from a variety of packages. But costs to enjoy the four zip lines with hiking start at $70 per adult.

The Tyroparc zipline runs usually run through to October but its operations depends on weather conditions. Don't forget to reserve your spot online beforehand!
