I'm not quite sure how to feel about this pothole spotted on Decarie Boulevard near Portovino. On the one hand filling a pothole with rocks as a quick fix is probably better than breaking your car's wheel axle. But on the other, it's infuriating to think that the city of Montreal probably paid 3 workers $50 and hour to do this (one to fill the hole, one to sit in the truck and one to supervise) and we're probably going to have to pay those same worker to fill the hole up properly in a week or two ... hopefully. I really hope they didn't just fill this up with rocks and figured: "Okay boys, this one's good until next summer."
So what do you think? Is this better than nothing, or would it have been smarter to just fix the pothole properly the first time?
