How Real Women React To Photo-Shopped Versions Of Themselves

It's no doubt that one of the most controversial issues around fashion and advertisement stems from Photoshop. While Aerie banned the use of image altering programs in their latest campaigns, several brands continue to rely on Photoshop for picture perfect results.

Many wish to look as flawless as the not- so- real models in these shoots. However, some do not realize that once image altering applications are applied, the model in the photos becomes entirely different from the true person. Recently, Buzz Feed asked women to participate in a Photoshop experiment.

Photo shoots were conducted with real women. Later, those photos underwent normal Photoshop procedures and the women's reactions to the final products are chilling.
