Get A Free Outdoor Workout Session This Weekend In Montreal

Get fit while enjoying the sunshine.

We all want to look good, especially in the summer, when stripping off the layers is pretty much inevitable. But looking good ideally starts from the inside, with the right diet, healthy lifestyle habits and yes, some good old-fashioned physical activity. Now we could tell you that Montreal has got a ton of great gyms (cause it does), that feature state-of-the-art equipment, an assortment of dumbbells, and of course, selfie enthusiasts, but let's be honest, that's not really your thing.

Well how about a place that has no machines, no traditional weights, no mirrors, where you work your body using movement and your own bodyweight?  A non-competitive environment with a variety of workouts and classes happening throughout the day, where everyone pushes themselves to their limit but at they’re own level, without endlessly counting reps and sets?  You know, back-to-basics training to get you in the best shape of your life.

Amenzone Fitness does just that. Specializing in "primal fitness training," a high-energy workout that uses one's own bodyweight and recycled tires to create movement and get your heart racing, celebrity trainer Amen Iseghohi has brought his signature concept to Montreal and wants you to try it for free this weekend (Sunday June 28) at Jeanne-Mance Park at 3 PM, rain or shine.

As part of its mission to bring the fitness to the people, Amenzone hits the road making various stops in places like Central Park in NYC and Los Angeles, and is kicking this year's tour in Montreal. This summer, Amenzone will set up in 5 different locations all over the city for 2 weekends each so make sure to check the website for locations and all the tour dates.

Whether you're a beginner or an athlete, this is a workout for anyone bored with treadmill running, bench pressing, and staring at themselves in the mirror. Choose from numerous engaging classes that mix cardio conditioning, strength endurance and mental grit using everything from tractor tires, to climbing ropes, to monkey bars, to punching bags, for a true full-body workout.

Try the free class, feel the burn and realize that getting in shape can be a welcomed challenge that's actually fun doing. Though we're still wondering if Amenzone's 100% homemade, all-natural, organic, vegan, gluten-free smoothies (available at their exclusive health bar GoJi Bar Santé) are actually the best part...
