Huge 50% Off On Everything Closing Sale At Montreal's Chapters On Saint-Catherine Street

Good news (for the immediate moment) book lovers, as the downtown Chapters located on Stanley and St. Catherine is having a 50% off everything sale. This isn't buy-one-get-one, or a deal on the year's worst novels, this is legit a half off sale on literally everything within the store.

Sounds too good to be true, so we called in to make sure everything about this sale was on the level after seeing a post about it on reddit. Thankfully, all rumours were confirmed, with all details below.

The half-off everything sale  will be going on until supplies last, and extends to everything in the Chapters store, excluding electronics. So books, stationery, magazines, toys, and all the other random stuff inside Chapters will be 50% off.

This isn't some wild promotion to compete with Amazon. No, the downtown Chapters simply needs to get rid of all of its wares to make room for lingerie, as the gigantic bookstore will be transformed into Canada's largest Victoria's Secret outlet in early 2015.

Officially closing on October 4th, this is your chance to enjoy Chapters while its still around, while also reaping some serious sale benefits. Be sure to get going while the going is good, as the sale has already been active for day. With the huge inventory the store holds though, you'll probably still be able to find something worth buying. Students should get on it, as you may be able to get a solid deal on some literature on your course's syllabus.
