Montrealers Are Getting Their Pet Dog's Name Tattooed On Them

Those of you who follow me on social media, or who know me in real life - or who've even seen me stop cold in my tracks while walking down the street in order to ogle a stranger's dog - know that I'm a little bit obsessed with animals.

You also probably know the heartbreaking story of my dog, who ran away after spending 14 awesome years by my side. She was the best dog anyone could have asked for, and since she left, I've been trying to get more involved with/informed about animal shelters and charities however I can.

So you can imagine how excited I was to learn about Bloodline Tattoo's fundraising event taking place next week, on January 22-23. Montreal tattoo artist Devin Wood will be at Bloodline (2421 Rue Jolicoeur), tatting people up with the names of their beloved pets. Cool, right? But wait, it gets better!

All the proceeds raised during this event will go to the Montreal SPCA. Yes, friends, this means that not only will you be able to get some beautiful lettering done - and not only will you be able to express just how much you love your fur baby - but you'll also be able to feel good about knowing that your money's going to an awesome cause.

I personally think this is awesome. If you do too, feel free to check out the Bloodline Tattoo website for more information. Or check out Devin's Facebook post below:

Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of January at Bloodline Tattoo, I will be tattooing pet names and ALL THE PROCEEDS...
