Hydro Quebec Wants To Make You Pay More Money Because Of All The Bad Weather

In case you haven't noticed or you've been in denial for the last few weeks, the weather has been pretty horrible in Montreal and in Quebec.

Sure the cold temperatures and the snow are are annoying, but it's actually the wind that's  been causing the most amount of problems.

And now it's looks like hydro Quebec customers might to get stuck paying for it. 

For the last 10 days, violent winds have caused a lot of power outages so Hydro Quebec wants to spend more money trimming and cutting away branches and trees that are too close to power lines, in order to prevent unnecessary outages.

According to the Weather Network, Hydro Quebec will be hitting us up for more money in the spring to pay for this. The hike is supposed to be about 1,1%.
