Instagram Is Apologizing After A "Bug" Forced A Super Unpopular Upgrade But Furious Twitter Users Are Not Convinced

Instagram is in hot water after an accidental upload angered thousands of users today.
For a short period of time, the layout of users' feeds were fundamentally altered. Instead of the usual vertical scroll, users had to suddenly tap through one post at a time, much like how users navigate through Insta stories, according to Global News.

TL;DR Instagram claims a "bug" is to blame after a super unpopular upgrade fundamentally changed the app. Twitter users, however, are not convinced. Below are some of the most hilarious responses.
Instagram quickly resolved the issue and posted this statement to Twitter:
Due to a bug, some users saw a change to the way their feed appears today. We quickly fixed the issue and feed is back to normal. We apologize for any confusion.
Suspicious Twitter users, however, continue to roast the popular photo-sharing app for its apparent mistake.
Some even suspect that this was an intentional update that was quickly removed after it provoked outcry.
These are some of the funniest reactions.

Wouldn't it be better to admit you backed off because of the dreadful feefback? It'd show you care about the people's opinion

In the end, though, there's only one person to blame:
I think we all know who's responsible for the new Instagram update #instagramupdatepic.twitter.com/hVTAhSvUVD
Only time will tell whether this "bug" was an accident or a hint of things to come. In the meantime, this incident will likely forever live in Internet lore.
Stay tuned.
