Montreal hosts a skateboarding festival in the summer, and last year to celebrate our brand spanking new skateboarding grounds - the man, the myth, the legend himself, Tony Hawk, was on hand for our summer festival.ย

@jackalopefestJackalope Festival is returning to Montreal this August, and once again, Tony Hawk will be making his way to Montreal and showing off his skills for the crowds. He just can't stay away from us!ย
Tony Hawk is the leading celebrity name on this year's lineup - but Jackalope Festival has much more in store for 2018, too.ย
For the first time, BMX champion Mat Hoffman will also be on the Jackalope grounds in 2018, and both celebrityย athletes will be doing a demonstration for the crowds.ย
Jackalope 2018 inย Montreal will also see the World Cup Skateboardingcompetition for men and women, as well as a Skateboarding competition for athletes under 13.ย
Additionally, there will be slacklining, some great after parties and amazing Montreal food trucks and pop-up shops to get your spending on!ย
All things considered, Jackalopeย Skateboarding festival/competition is a much-needed pallet cleanser from the standard Montreal festivals. It's a full weekend of jam-packed shredding and displays of mental boarding skills.ย
For me, my skateboarding knowledge is somewhat limited. I've never been good with my balance on a board, so when I get to watch the pros do it, my mind is blown!ย
