For all of those who can't wait until mid-August for Montreal's newest EDM festival, Île Soniq, we've got some good news for you. To help tide you over until the real festival rocks our collective socks off, Parc Jean-Drapeau is hosting an entirely free Ile Soniq Beach Dance Party.

On June 20th from 4pm to 9pm, get out to Parc Jean-Drapeau clad in the sexiest of summer beach-wear. This may only be a sample of Ile Soniq, but 5 hours of dancing on the beach is a pretty hefty portion, so treat this like the real-deal. It won't be another 2 months until you'll get a chance to dance on the sand Île Soniq-style.

No official details have been released on the DJ set list yet, so check back with us for any and all updates. Still, the words "free" "beach" and "Île Soniq" have already sealed the deal, and its not as if they're going to get a bad DJ to rep the festival.

Parc Jean-Drapeau is throwing this summer jam as part of their Open Doors Day, where a ton of other cool, and totally free, events will be going on. Other things you may want to head early to check out are: free beach admission, free aquatic complex admission, G1 tours, and half off on La Ronde tickets, bike rentals, wakeboarding, and yoga classes. Or, you know, just show up at 4 for the beach party like we will.
