It's Official, Montreal Burger Week 2014 Grills Off In September

Get your arteries ready for an ol' fashioned clogging, because once summer winds down the burgers bust on out, thanks to Le Burger Week 2014. A city-wide competition based on naming the best burgers of Montreal, this is a week-long love affair of all things meaty that you won't want to miss.

Le Burger Week 2014 will start on September 1st and end on the 7th,  with this year's theme being "No Limits" meaning restos can make burgers priced anywhere from $5 to $150. For those 7 days, all Montrealers are invited to head to the participating restos, try out their signature Burger Week creation and then vote online. The burger joint with the most will be crowned the winner, and have bragging rights all year long.

Only the dates for this year's Burger Week have been revealed, but we're assuming the restos competing will be pretty similar to last year's list. Expect big things from the major buger-players of Montreal, 'cuz they usually go all out. Last year's winner was Diablos BBQ's "Cheezus" burger, which had a bun literally made of cheese. #Drool.

We're still a couple months away from Le Burger Week 2014, so be sure to follow along on updates regarding ways to get involved, the full resto/burger list, and tantalizing pics of burgers to get you pumped up. We'll keep you covered here, but be sure to head to Le Burger Week's FB page and the official website for direct info.
