It's Official, Montreal's 2015 "Fête Des Neiges" Festival Is Taking Over Parc Jean-Drapeau In January

Parc Jean-Drapeau isn't just for the summer months. Yes, Piknic, Osheaga, ÎleSoniq, and all the others may be in the year's rear view mirror, but looking forward deep into winter, Parc Jean-Drapeau will still be full of festive fun. Come January, Parc Jean-Drapeau will become a Fête des neiges, a veritable winter wonderland.
For four weekends from Janueary 17th to Febuary 8th of next year, Parc Jean-Drapeau will play host to the 32nd year of Fête des neiges de Montréal festivities. Tons on tons of winter activities will be there for you and your fam/friends to enjoy, including:
- a refrigerated skating path
- cross-country skiing + snowshoeing
- dog-sled and horse-drawn sleigh rides
- Zip-line
- A giant winter Ferris wheel
- Inflatable structures (aka bouncy castles)
More food options are also promised at this year's edition of Fête des neiges, which we hope translates to food trucks being on-site. We haven't seen many since the food truck season ended, and we'd be delighted to see what our favourite trucks can cook up for the winter months.
Fête des neiges de Montréal will only be going on during the weekends, from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and 'til 6pm on Sundays. Get more info and any updates by heading to the event listing on the Parc Jean-Drapeau official website.
