Last year the parade filled streets with holiday magic in the form of Christmas floats, holiday characters, dancing, tons of music, and more! It's definitely a Montreal tradition by now, which is why I'm excited to announce that The Santa Claus Parade will be returning for its 68th edition this year!

As if it couldn't get any better, the wait to finally watch the parade isn't long at all. Saturday, November 17th is the day that you'll be able to line up along Saint-Catherine Street and wave by over 20 holiday floats, performers, musicians, and of course... Santa Claus himself!

A special addition to this year's parade is a float inspired by all of the amazing winter sports: skiing, hockey, snowboarding, you name it! This float will demonstrate true Canadian enthusiasm about the winter season.
One of the most beloved parts of the parade is by far the Christmas Fairy. The fairy gets the crowed super pumped up for the arrival of the one and only Santa Claus. Thankfully, she will be making a return this year on a magical float sure to rouse the hundreds of spectators.

The parade begins at 11AM on Saint-Catherine West between Du Font and Saint-Urbain. The street will be completely closed to cars to celebrate the most festive event of the season!
