It's Official, Montreal's STM Has Been Ranked "#1 Public Transit System" In Canada

The official ranking of Canada's Public Transit systems has been released, and sadly we may have to stop poking fun at the STM Metro system. That's because Montreal actually received the highest grade out of any other major city in Canada!

Seriously, here's what the report card said:
1. Greater Montreal
Score: A+++
2. Metro Vancouver:
Score: A+
3. Greater Calgary:
Score: A+
4. Greater Edmonton:
Score: B
5. Greater Toronto/Hamilton:
Score: C
6. National Capital Region:
Score: C
And when you consider how much we like to complain the STM, it almost makes you feel bad for the other cities.
Think about it, If Montreal got an A+++, then how bad do you have to be to get a C?
The cities are rated based on certain indicators including: Passenger trips per capita, passenger cost per trip, passenger trip per hour, and service hours per capita. (Full Report)
