It's Official, Paul McCartney Is Coming To Montreal

Montreal becomes an international destintation in the summertime. The city's festivals, trendy food scene, and countless unique activities draw millions of visitors between June and September.

And celebrities take notice. Famous people flock to Montreal to take advantage of the summer way-of-life. As the city becomes a hub for the film industry and its streetscapes become host to pop-up movie sets, celebrity-sightings are more frequent than ever. Just last week, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston were in town to film a Netflix original movie. Sandler even crashed a local wedding.

With some of the best venues on the continent, including the Bell Center, Olympic Park, and the all-new festival grounds at Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montreal also frequently pops up on the tour lists of some of our favourite singers.

New concert dates are constantly appearing on venue calendars. Just this morning, Paul McCartney announced that he is bringing his Freshen Up tour to the Bell Centre at the end of this summer!

The famous crooner and former Beatle will take the stage on September 20th. He will play in Québec City earlier that same week.

The tour will follow the release of a new studio album entitled Egypt Station on September 4th. That means Montrealers will be among the first to hear the new tunes live. McCartney will also undoubtedly play some of his most classic songs. So we can expect a chill and nostalgic evening. It's just the news we need following weeks of harrowing headlines.
