J.K. Rowling Has Finally Released An All-New "Harry Potter" Story Online

Not since Harry's epic win over Voldemort (and that atrocious "19 Years Later" epilogue) have Pot-heads (HP fans) been given a glimpse into the life of The Boy Who Lived. All that changed today when a story was released by the headmistress of all things Potter herself, J.K. Rowling.

The story itself doesn't directly follow Harry or his pals, as Rowling took a World Cup-inspired approach, using the perspective of everyone's least favourite gossip columnist, Rita Skeeter, as she covers the Quidditch World Cup Final. Harry is more the focus of the column though, although readers only get little snippets of info on his and the gang's adult life.

Rowling's new story was originally posted on Pottermore.com, but since you have to create an account and its mega-slow right meow (wonder why?) it's probably best to just read an online screen cap. Here's one for you right here.

Don't get too excited, as Rowling has said in the past that she won't be writing any more Potter-tales. Skeeter's column is better than nothing though. A final Skeeter-column will be published on Friday, according to The Bookseller.
