Jennifer Lopez Is Finally Coming To Montreal

It's been 7 years since the singing sensation was here!
Jennifer Lopez Is Finally Coming To Montreal

In celebration of J.Lo's 50th birthday - yes the woman is actually turning 50 I'm shocked, too - she's going on tour across the States.

And lucky for us, Montreal is one of only two Canadian stops on the It's My Party tour.

TL;DR Jennifer Lopez is finally making her way back to Montreal after 7 years. She'll be playing the Bell Centre this summer as well as a show at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena.

This summer we are partying all across the United States. 🥰🥳 RT if you're going to party with me for the "IT'S MY PARTY" TOUR!!!!💜🎂💋

February 13, 2019

The pop sensation is hot of the release of her new movie, Second Act, and if J.Lo is any indication, 50 is the new 30.

This is why she's going on tour - to celebrate her 50th birthday in style.

The singer has surprisingly only embarked on three concert tours in the past.

Her "Dance Again" world tour with Enrique Iglesias, passed through Montreal in July of 2012 and her first visit with ex-husband Marc Anthony was way back in 2007.

So J.Lo fans are bound to be ecstatic to see the triple-threat again this summer at the Centre Bell.

Her Montreal show is on July 10th, after her July 7th show at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

This does leave a lot of Canada wanting, not to mention the entirety of Europe who is secretly hoping that she'll turn the North American tour into a World Tour.

This would be the time for her to venture out on a world tour, considering all the attention she has on her after the release of Second Act, as well as her residency on World of Dance and in Las Vegas.

However, it's not as if the star has loads of time on her hands. Not only is she a mother of two, but she is also currently attached to an HBO film project that could have the star acting as drug lord Griselda Blanco.

It looks like tickets are not yet available, as the show isn't even listed in the Centre Bell Event Listings yet. There are resale outlets that seem to have tickets for sale, but I wouldn't go down those avenues until an official ticket outlet has released tickets.

We'll update this article when a trusted ticket outlet becomes available!

Here's What's Open & What's Closed On Labour Day In Montreal

There are still a ton of things to do this Monday holiday!
  • Here's a short list of what's open and what's closed on Labour Day in Montreal.
  • If you're heading out, make sure to call ahead to your destination to inquire about reduced hours.

Yes, it's a long weekend! Three uninterrupted days to relax, have fun, and not think for two seconds about things like school or work, or other responsibilities until Tuesday morning. Not to be too depressing but it will be six weeks before we get another official long weekend.

But let's focus on the positive! This is usually one of the summer weekends that people are trying to pack in their last days of camping or chalet time. But if you're planning to stay in the city it's good to know what's open and what's closed so you can plan out your Labour Day weekend.

Details of the fire are few, but it's clear several police vehicles were on scene.
