The world-leader-power-couple known as TruBama are officially making their debut. Or to those who don't believe in celebrity combo names, I'm of course talking about Justin Trudeau and Obama, who have getting friendly during the Canadian Prime Minister's visit to the White House.

Accompanied by his wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau and children, Trudeau's trip to the US capital began yesterday and will continue for tonight's state dinner. Justin will actually be the first PM in the last 20 years to get invited to such an event.

Obama extended an invite to Trudeau back in October when the current Canadian PM was elected, with US President hoping to reestablish a warm working relationship between the two nations.

Not all glitz and glam, however, the meeting of leaders will also see important issues addressed, specifically on the topics of the environment and trade relations.

But there definitely has been a fair amount of pomp in the visit thus far, with Trudeau and Obama basically making everyone else jealous they can't get in on their world-leader bromance. We can, however, picture ourselves there through the photos below, while also dreaming up racy TruBama fanfics in our minds.

EH! #Repost @globeandmail with @repostapp. ・・・ After welcoming the Trudeaus to Washington during an event on the front lawn of the White House, Justin Trudeau, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau get a better look at the U.S. capital from the Truman Balcony. The President, who regards the younger Mr. Trudeau as a soulmate on climate change and social progressive issues, was effusive in his praise. “Today we are very proud to welcome the first visit of a Canadian prime minister in nearly 20 years. It’s about time, eh?” he said. ?: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images #JustinTrudeau #BarackObama #MichelleObama #SophieGregoireTrudeau #WhiteHouse
