It's almost June, and it's that time of the year again. No, I'm not talking about "festival" season or "terrasse" season, I'm talking ultra-prestigious world-renown sporting event time AKA Gand Prix F1 in Montreal!

Formula 1 is a big deal for a couple reasons. First, it's the highest class of single-seater auto racing sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. And second, formula one cars are the fastest road course racing cars in the world.

While Europe is the sport's traditional base, the championship is truly global, with 11 of the 21 races in the 2018 season taking place outside Europe.

The fact that Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile has chosen Montreal to be the home of this prestigious race is a true testament to the beauty and unique cultural appeal of our city.

Our PM Justing Trudeau himself loves to get into the F1 vibe. During Grand Prix weekend in the past, he's been spotted taking some of his most precious beauties out for a spin.

In this video, we can see him driving a Mercedes 300SL a vehicle which values at approximately 2 million.
