If you didn't know Kim Kardashian was in Montreal yesterday, welcome back to planet earth! Just kidding, if I didn't work here I likely would have been ignorant of the whole thing, too.
And while a pretty sizable group of people waiting outside the museum for Kim K's arrival and departure from the event... other people stayed home and decided to vent, instead. What exactly were they venting about?
Well, when it comes to Kim Kardashian, apparently anything is fair game.

TL;DR Kim Kardashian's impromptu visit to the Musee des beaux-arts has Montrealers swarming the comment section trashing her outfits and other hilarious reactions. Check them out below.
To fill in anyone who was unaware, the reality star was in town to kick off an exhibit at the Musee des beaux-arts featuring the fashion of French designer Thierry Mugler that will run until September 8th.
Her arrival was slightly shocking to most Montrealers because... well, the weather was shit yesterday for one.
But on top of that... girl showed up without a coat!!!

So it's no surprise that the comments were pretty hilarious.
Our Facebook and Instagram posts were bursting with people chiming in on the celeb spotting.
Most of the comments were about her outfit.
Which makes sense because it was freezing cold and so windy it hurt yesterday.
A lot of people made good points that she's often pictured in far more clothing in much warmer weather...
So the fact that she chose this day and this city to skip the fur coat was... a choice.
And, of course, the plastic surgery and sex tape comments were inevitable.
Plus, a couple people were hoping a Kim K slip and fall might spur the city to deal with the state of our murderous sidewalks.
Although a couple did give her kudos for her fearlessness in the face of the freezing temperatures and icy sidewalks.
Other people were ruthless in their disdain for the reality star.
They didn't understand why she was here or why anyone cared and they simply had to share these feelings with the world.
Some of the comments were kind of cruel, too, to be honest.
I mean, I get she's Kim K and she'll never see these comments but... where's the Canadian kindness we boast so frequently?
It seems our dear city is divided on their opinion of the celeb starlet.
While there were crowds of people awaiting her arrival, hundreds of comments online seem to imply that Montrealers actively dislike the Kardashian.
The reality is, moments like this make Montrealers feel like they're on the map.
But what actually puts us on the map is our world-class museum and its dedication to honouring fashion as an art form.
So go take in the Mugler exhibit while it's here! You can breathe the same air as Kim Kardashian - or at least take in some impressive art and fashion design.
