"Titan will send riders on a swinging, dizzying adventure atop a giant swaying pendulum. Inspired by the legend of the Titans, those divine beings of the Greek Mythology synonymous with total domination, Titan will propel riders into a spinning tour over the park, sending them higher and higher in the air until they experience a feeling of weightlessness."
The ride towers 45 meters high and reaches speeds of up to 112 km per hour!
While the CIUSSS hasn't released official advice on whether to get vaxxed right before boarding the Vertigo, the World Health Organization says that "most reactions to [COVID-19] vaccines are mild and go away within a few days on their own."
As of July 28, 71,846 Montrealers in the 18-29 age group hadn't received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, compared to 66,656 Montrealers in the 30 to 39 age group — the second-lowest vaccination rate of any adult age group.
Montreal's Dog Fest returns this summer to celebrate the special relationships between humans and their "most loyal" companions.
"Since the beginning of time, dogs have been our helpers, our protectors, and our friends."
Dog Fest is a 2-day celebration chalked full of super dog performances, live music and just a great, entertaining day in the park with your little fur buddy and other like-minded dog parents.
There will be over 50 vendors on hand stocked to the brim with dog toys, treats, accessories, grooming tools, etc. There will also be trainers on hand - so you can get some tips or plan out some classes to teach your pup something new.
The best part of Dog Fest Montreal is that a good chunk of the proceeds will be going to Fondation MIRA Inc,a local guide-dog school, and charity foundation. So when you get something for your pup, you're supporting other pups and the people in need who will soon be giving them a forever home.
That, alone, gives this festival the leg-up on other events happening around this weekend. This one is not to miss.
Oh - did I mention that it is totally free to attend? It is!
There will be food trucks on site as well, and live shows from the Agility Dogs, Flyball, Frisbee Dogs, Lure coursing, Doggy Kissing Booth and much more!
Also, if you're a new pet owner or you're finally getting around to microchipping your little buddy - there will also be chipping services at Dog Fest Montreal for a reduced cost - so you can save some bucks while adhering to the city bylaws and keep your pup safe, registered and have some piece of mind.
All things considered, if you're a dog owner in Montreal this festival is for you!
