St. Laurent is truly a special street. A mixture of nightlife, art, food, and business culture, "The Main" earns its name for being the embodiment of all things awesome in Montreal. Now it's time to find out the 'who' behind the city's iconic strip. Inspired by Je vois mtl, a Montreal community devoted to changing perspectives on Montreal, SDBSL, the leaders of St. Laurent street, created a video showcasing the many minds that make The Main magical.
All the big players of St. Laurent street are featured, from LNDMRK to Schwartz's to SaintWoods, each giving their own perspective on Montreal's unique culture and their place within the community. Each interview gives you some insight into the folks who make St. Laurent street what it is, providing a behind-the-scenes perspective you would never see otherwise.
Check out the short video below, and be sure to head to Je vois mtl's website where you can vote for projects that will make Montreal even more amazing.
Even though the next few days will be the biggest weekend Montreal will see all summer as Osheaga comes around, we're always thinking ahead. It's no secret that 3643 St- Laurent Apt. 200 is one of our favorite spots on St. Lo, and next weekend, they're hosting one of the biggest and most unique parties you've seen all summer.
On Thursday, August 7th, house DJ and producer Shiba San will make his way down to the main all the way from Paris. Tickets are $10 and you can check out the full event details here.
This won't be your typical night of chilling in and around Apt. 200. Parc Cité, Montreal's newest and coolest student residency is hosting the evening, and they're going to make sure you don't leave empty handed.
Located at 3440 Avenue du Parc and just seconds away from McGill campus, Parc Cité is every student’s dream home. In association with LNDMRK (the agency that brought life to St. Laurent Boulevard during Mural Festival) and EN MASSE, a Montreal- based collaborative artistic project, led by Jason Botkin, Parc Cité now looks like a street art museum, designed for the most imaginative students of Montreal.
In celebration of the new and improved residency, the team behind Parc Cité will be present at Apt. 200′s party next weekend, passing around free merch like bandanas, apparel and other swag.
Starting Monday, August 4th, until the day of the party from 9am- 5pm, you can pass by Parc Cité and pick up one of ten free bandanas, which will also get you free entrance and a skip-the-line access into the party until midnight. Even if you’re not one of the lucky first ten to grab one of these, you can still pick up a free, custom designed poster by EN MASSE- we love them and so will you.

No Kliché, GRANDBUDA, and Ryan Playground drop awesome sound.
In celebration of this years highly anticipated Mural festival, Montreal based producers NoKliché, GrandBuda, and RYAN Playground were brought together by LNDMRK and SaintWoods at SILVERTAG studio to create an ultimate mix for the occasion. Blending their three complimentary yet indivudal styles the group worked diligantly over countless days to produce the 'Mural Mix 2014' highlighting the current sounds of our fair city.
