We're all still reeling from Robin Williams' recent passing, but the only way to deal with any tragic death is to remember the happy memories of the one who passed on, and Williams will forever live on in his work. In homage to Robin Williams and all the laughter he's brought us over the years, Virgin Radio & CTV are hosting a free screening of the comedy classic Mrs. Doubtfire.
To be held tonight at Recreation Park (map), the event invites all Montrealers to enjoy and remember Williams at his best, when he was making people laugh. Drinks and snacks will be served at 7pm, and the movie will begin as soon as the sun sets.
Movies in the Park is an ongoing weekly series, with two more films to be screened this month. Check out the full event listings for info on venues and films here.
It's probably been a while since you've seen Mrs. Doubtfire, so to to remind you of the hilarity and the comical weirdness of Williams in old-lady drag (also well-timed for Pride) watch the trailer below.
