Montreal's International Auto Show is back this weekend and is packing more than just some pretty cars.
Gear-heads will find over 40 modified cars at the event's most popular attraction, the Performance Zone , spanning two rooms with extraordinary vehicles, electric energy and festive entertainment.
Get up close and personal with the magnificent Montreal-made Magnum MK5 super car which is the first road-legal track car in Canada.
This year's event has also added some new features to make the show more interactive than ever before. The 2015 Dream Car Test Drive event, where Facebook fans have been voting since the fall which cars they want to test, giving you the chance to test one of 11 dream cars during the event.
Or check out the Ajusto Grand Rally at the Desjardins booth, where visitors can take part in the Ajusto Grand Rally touchscreen game with a one-month rental of a fully electric Tesla grand prize to be won.
Other related events include a blood-drive taking place at Complexe Desjardins in conjunction with Héma-Québec and CTV Montreal throughout the week, and for the first time ever, the Auto Show has partnered up with Just For Laughs to present a brand new “Juste une affaire de gars” comedy show entirely dedicated to stories about cars and everything related. The show will feature several well-known comedians and will take place on January 21 at Théâtre St-Denis.
All in all, the event will feature over 500 gorgeous car models on exhibition, exciting premiers, and attractions for all tastes. Even if cars aren't really your thing, there will be plenty of promo girls to look at, and you never know, you a cute wealthy car-owner may just take you for a ride.
The Montreal Auto Show takes place at the Palais des Congrès and runs from January 16 to 25, 2015.
