From the early days of playing Duck Hunt on the original NES, all the way to Super Smash Bros. parties with friends today, video games have been part of many of our daily lives for as long as we can remember.
Which is why an entire event dedicated to retro gaming is such a beautiful thing.
The 5th Retro Video Game Festival happening next month on May 21 will have various retro consoles to check out, with a variety of your favourite old-school titles, as well as more obscure games such at Neo Geo and Virtual Boy.
There will also be a Metroid marathon, and vendors selling old games and gear to add (or return!) to your collection.
It costs $15 and you can get your tickets here.
Happy gaming, Montreal!
