Airbnb is a great way to save cash when travelling, as almost any listing in any city is way cheaper to rent out than a hotel. The same can be said for Montreal's many airbnb apartments, though there is one major outlier. Most airbnb spots in Montreal charge anywhere from $50-$100 per night. The owner of this apartment asks for a whopping $5, 500.
You read that right, one night at this Montreal lodge will cost you $5, 500 for just a single night's stay. The absurdly expensive airbnb lodge isn't someone's shitty 3 1/2 apartment, mind you, as this is a swanky ass pad befitting of the price. Well, almost.
Located on Saint Timothée street, the "Penthouse de grande luxe" is a 3, 500 sqft space with 2 floors, with 3 bedrooms, an 800 sqft rooftop terrace, a giant dining room, and, if you so choose, access to a Mercedes CLS 550, driver included.
If you don't have the cash to afford such a ritzy lodging, take a look at the photos below to experience a taste of the swank inherent to this Airbnb penthouse You can check out the full listing here, and many thanks to Petit Petit Gamin for pointing this insanely priced Airbnb post in our direction.
