Winter is gone but red noses make a return to Montreal with the Néz pour vivre's event to set a new world record this Sunday in Quartier des Spectacles.

Néz pour vivre invites all Montrealers to gather, don a red nose, raise funds for cancer, and try to beat the world record of most people wearing a red nose in one place.

The number to beat is 16 092 people, set by Australia in 2011, which will only be held by the Aussies for another few days, because Montreal will break the record.

Artists like Marie-Eve Janvier,  Jean-François Breau, Alex Nevsky, and many more will also be performing for the event.

Red noses will be sold on-site for only $2, with proceeds going to support youths suffering from cancer. Support a good cause while also gaining Montreal a new point of pride. It's a win-win people.

See all the details in the FB event and find out how you can help more (and win prizes) at Néz pour vivre's official website.

Will you be wearing a red nose on Sunday?
