Montreal's Clock Tower Beach In The Old Port Now Has Giant Sand Sculptures
Get ready for some art in the sand.
You wish your dinky sandcastles were this epic. Well, we actually wish the same thing, because none of our sand-art skills compare to what's in store for Montreal during the Old Port's Art in the Sand event. Starting tomorrow, the sands of Montreal'swill be expertly sculpted into three amazing structures for all to admire.
Art in the Sand begins this Friday, June 13th, and will run for 6 weeks until July 25th. In total, three sand sculptures will be made by, with one more added after about a fortnight. Professional artists will be making these sandy spectacles, and you'll be able to watch them create live and in person.
So you know when each sand sculpture will be built, here's a rundown of the schedule for Art in the Sand:
- 1st sculpture: Built June 11-12th, lasts 'til June 26th
- 2nd sculpture: Built June 26-27th, lasts 'til July 10th
- 3rd sculpture: Built July 9-10th, lasts 'til July 25th
Summer and art have never been more beautifully combined. Get more info at the Old Port's online event page.
