Crescent street is sending summer off with a bang, no, make that a bass drop, as the iconic Montreal nightlife street will be turning into a two-day outdoor EDM festival. The festival, known as Villa Paradizo, will not be a ticketed event, making it the very first EDM-fest to be free of charge in Montreal and all of Quebec.
Over the course of two days (September 5th and 6th) Crescent street will be outfitted with stages, screens, and speakers so you can dance your face off from morning to night. 16 DJs from Montreal and around the world will be performing over the course of the 2-day festival, each with their own unique beat.
Villa Paradizo will start pounding the bass each day at 11am, and although that seems a bit early to go get dancy, early EDM-birds who check in at the event from 11am-3pm will get a chance to win an EDM kit. Expect gum, bottles of water, and deodorant, at least that's what we tend to need at an EDM show.
