Let's give summer drinking on terrasses one final hurrah this weekend with the largest outdoor drinking spot on St. Laurent street at the infamous Le Belmont. The largest terasse on the block won't be back 'til next year, so get to drinking in the waning summer sun while you can.
Le Belmont is busting out their infamous terrasse this weekend for the 2014 Mix'Arts street festival, which will remake St. Laurent from Sherbrooke to Mont-Royal into an art-filled affair of free music, plenty of street eats, and, of course, an abundance of terrasses.
You may have heard how the Montreal Fire Department is cracking down on terrasse seating capacity this time around, but don't fret too much, because Le Belmont's gigantic terrasse will still be huge, even with some seats taken away.
Don't waste your time with lesser terrasses. There's only so much of summer left, and only a few days to enjoy outdoor drinking at Le Belmont. We'll see you there, pitchers in hand.
