Zombies are making an early return to Montreal, and that means you should be excited. The brain-eating, skin-rotting, and slow-moving horde of the undead are back for a June edition of Montreal's Zombie Walk, which last occurred in October. Zombie enthusiasts and hunters should be rejoicing for the summer revival.
Sunday, June 8th will be the day to get zombified. The zombie walk (undead shuffle?) will begin at Eva B (map) to travel on through the F1 street fair (for some on-the-go brain food) and end at Tam Tams, where the malign march will end with a feast on the flesh of the LARPers. Foam swords won't be enough to save them.
Zombies will start walking at 3pm, but show up around noon-ish for some time to get some undead-wear at Eva B, with zombie-makeup artists most likely on-site for impromptu dead-ification.
To tide you over on Zombie fun, be sure to check out 15:01, a zombie apocalypse movie set in Montreal. Take notes for when the zombies march in June.
