This island is definitely one of the best you can find and a lot of tourists know about it. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The island is pretty built up and has lots of fun activities for tourists to enjoy. Indonesia is an amazing travel destination for so many reasons, and the most important is that it's super affordable for tourists. Pulau Bintan is basically two islands split, Pulau on one side and Bintan on the other. Koh Tonsay, also known as Rabbit Island, is the definition of a paradise island. It's only accessible by a 30 minute boat ride across the refreshing blue waters. There are no hotels on the island, the locals own small, modest huts for visitors to stay in on the single strip of beach land. The locals own their own little restaurants and bars where they catch your seafood and cook it right as you order. All you have to do is sit, relax and enjoy on this island!


5. Boracay, Philippines

Boracay is a popular tourist destination because it's just so beautiful. It also has some amazing and fun activities like parasailing, snorkelling, and ATV riding. 6. Cat Ba, Vietnam

This Malaysian island is home to crystal blue waters, several surrounding smaller islands and some amazing marine life. You should definitely try snorkelling because you're almost guaranteed to see some sea turtles and a whole lot of tropical fish. You can also try ocean kayaking and take a trip over to Bajau Laut, home to the Sea Gypsies who spend most of their time on the ocean waters!

Singapore is a slightly more expensive destination than others but there are plenty of ways to keep your trip here on budget. You should definitely take a guided tour of the Chek Jawa Wetlands to see some amazing wildlife, mangroves and other tropical wildlife! Enjoy some super fresh seafood in town, rent bikes and explore the entire island, and if you want to avoid hotel costs, camping is free on the island!


9. Macleod Island, Burma

This might be the most expensive island on this list but that's because it's so secluded and almost completely untouched. There is only one resort on the island, which is why the price of accommodations is so high. Exploring, however is completely free.
