Even though it feels like summer finally arrived in Montreal, fall is just around the corner. Once this unseasonable heat wave passes we'll be hit with full-blown fall and we can finally enjoy all the amazing things that it brings.
Imagine yourself walking on a carpet of golden leaves in the Plateau wearing a cozy sweater and circle scarf and being perfectly content with the temperature while you sip your pumpkin spice latte. Sounds like perfection doesn't it?
Well, very soon that's going to be our lives and I for one CANNOT wait! But what screams fall more than taking road trips outside the city to see the most beautiful fall foliage in all of Quebec!
Well, you can do just that at Mount Owl Head's Autumnfest this fall! The festival is taking place at three times this fall, September 23rd-30th, October 1st and October 7-9th. Everyday the event starts at 9:30am-4:30 pm with tons of fall-themed things to enjoy!
You can see the stunning fall colours through hiking trails and rides on the chair lifts! There will also be live music, an outdoor art gallery and artisan market, activities for children, a huge European BBQ and so much more!
Mount Owl's Head is only a 1.5 hour drive from Montreal so there's no excuse not to get out of the city and explore the beauty of our province this fall!
