We did it everyone. There was a hiccup or two along the way, but we all knew, deep down, in our heart of hearts, that the Habs would take down Boston. And the Canadiens did, so we celebrated.

To be more exact, we partied in the streets to a near frenzy, which is the only way a city can truly praise their team for making it to the third round of the playoffs. But don't mind the specifics, we won, and that's all that matters.

More than a few Montrealers (hundreds, really) took to the streets to show their Habs pride, while tweeting the whole time, of course. Real fans tweet, so check out the best tweets and pics from last night's glorious win over Boston below.

So much concentrated love. No doubt the Habs felt it miles away.

As if the Bell Centre could contain the city's excitement.

St. Cats flooded with fans is a beautiful thing.

A very beautiful thing

Maybe the best advertisement, ever.

Things happen, don't hate. Sometimes you're just that excited.

Shirtless guy in the back pulling a Brave Heart, our hats off to you.

Someone should REALLY be watching the road.

This picture just captures the magic so beautifully.

Yeah, the cops came out...

..but it was mainly just to protect the alcohol. For this, we thank you.

Damn skippy we be like

No one can call this Bruin a sore loser.

Where did you watch the game last night?
