Okay, who here remembers that Seinfeld episode where Elaine stopped getting it in for a little while, and subsequently turned into a complete shitshow?
If you haven't seen it, go watch it. It was hilarious... and, apparently, true to life, at least according to one study from Montreal's very own McGill University. (And at least according to, like, every woman's real life experiences ever, TBH).
The study looked at heterosexual women between the ages of 18 - 29, and asked them questions like when the last time they had sex was.
The women also had to memorize facts and uncommon words.
Apparently, women who had sex more often had a higher score on the memory tests.
Meaning the more frequently they had sex, the better their memories were (also meaning I may have just discovered the ultimate finals hack, maybe?)
There wasn't really one concrete reason for this, the study proposed that it could be because sex is exercise, and exercise tends to help with the ol' memory.
It could also be because having sex is a stress reliever, and we all know that stress is just a legit life-ruiner. It ruins lives.
So the next time you're debating between studying and getting it in, I think the answer is clear.
