MAC And Disney Have Created An All-New Limited Edition Aladdin Collection

The colours are inspired by the badass Princess Jasmine!
MAC And Disney Have Created An All-New Limited Edition Aladdin Collection

The hype for the all-new, live-action Aladdin remake has been somewhat divided, with huge controversy over whether or not the genie should be made blue via CGI, and fans inevitably comparing Will Smith's Genie to the original Robin Williams character.

But there is one good thing to come from the Disney re-adaptation: MAC Cosmetics has just released an all-new Aladdin-inspired cosmetics line that will let you transform your face into a Jasmine-like dream.

The make-up company that markets itself for "All Ages, All Races, All Genders," has started to share images of the collection, and it is seriously stunning, with colours that are perfect for summer. Take a look at the photos below!

On the MAC Disney's Aladdin Collection page they explain the inspiration for the line is none other than Princess Jasmine: "Highlighting the determination and confidence of Princess Jasmine, this wish-fulfilling collaboration features smoky metallic and desert shades that reflect Jasmine's strong-willed beauty.

Discover a new world of limited-edition colour, transformed in specially designed opulent packaging inspired by the rich patterns and vibrant hues of Agrabah."

The collection features lipsticks, lipglasses, lip glosses, pigments, powdered blush, eyeshadow and eyeliner.

They've also created a beautiful 13-piece Collector's Vault that includes all the above-mentioned products, which was retailing for $387, but looks to be already sold out on the Canadian site but may still be available in stores, you can check here.

While the Collector's Vault has a pretty hefty price tag, the price point on the rest of the cosmetics is relatively reasonable for MAC. Most of the pieces are under $30.

The lipsticks have the best names ever, like "Whole New World," "Rajah," and "Friend Like Me." Man, naming makeup and nail polish must be one of the best jobs in the world.

Some of the lipstick colours also come in a "velvet matte" version of the shade, for you matte fans out there.

There are three "lipglass" colours and names include, "Diamond in the Rough," and "Magic Carpet Ride."

There is also a pot of "lip glaze gloss" that is called "#1 Wish" and is a super hydrating formula.

The eyeshadow palette comes with nine shades and they also have amazing, on-point Aladdin themed names. (Is it weird that I like the names just as much as the colours themselves?!

From the top left going right, the colours are: Riffraff, Rags to Riches, No Ordinary Lamp, Princess Jasmine, Agrabah, Abu!, Creative Copper, Live the Genie Life, and Shadowy Lady.

The two powdered blushes (that look more like bronzers or highlighters to me) are called "Always One Jump Ahead," and "Your Wish Is My Command."

The pigment that is seen in the bottom right of the photo above is just called "Rose," that is an "intense, multi-use colour," that you can with a dry or wet brush on eyes, cheekbones or really wherever your little heart desires.

The whole collection is now on sale online at and in stores. They do recommend that you check your local stores for products that are currently sold out online.

No word on if they will re-stock the products that are sold out online, but I would imagine that if the Collector's Vault and some of the other products are already sold-out, they might as well make more and spread the love.
