In times like these, you gotta learn to roll with the punches — and sometimes the punches involve no longer having access to one of your favourite fast food items. McDonald's Canada has decided to create a temporarily limited menu throughout Canada. That means that if you're craving one of your go-to McDo's items, you may not have the chance of getting them for the foreseeable future.
And, its restaurants (drive-thru only) will no longer be serving breakfast all day long.
So, if you happen to be scrolling through UberEats and notice that the McDonald's seems to be missing some items, you now know why.
A McDonald's Canada representative told Narcity that the company has decided to remove some items from its menu to "simplify operations and to support social distancing in our kitchens during this time."
So, as of April 14, 2020, there are officially a few fan-favourites that have been removed from McDonald's Canada menus.
These include croissants, danishes, mini-chocolatines, and cones, McGriddles, bagels (à la carte and sandwiches), Big Breakfast, and salads (entrée and side).
But, don't worry — you can still order yourself a Big Mac, or three, whenever the craving hits.
And in Quebec, we're no longer going to be seeing the fried egg Big Breakfast and toast on menus around the province.
Some locations may still have these items available as long as supplies last.

But, they won't be restocking the above-mentioned food options for the time being.
The good news is that we can still get our classic Mcdonald's meals like Big Macs, Egg McMuffins, chicken nuggets, wraps, and french fries.
So, there isn't too much to worry about.
There's no mention of any of those items being removed any time soon, which is the best news I've heard all day.
The fast-food company will be evaluating the situation as it progresses and may make further changes to its menu if need be.
McDonald's Canada has not yet mentioned just how long these menu items will be removed.
Hopefully for us Quebecers, and the rest of Canada, we'll be able to indulge in whatever McDonald's items we crave as soon as possible.
Until then, we at MTL Blog hope that everyone is staying safe during these uncertain times.
And of course, we hope you're still managing to indulge in some McDonald's goodness thanks to our saviour: UberEats.
