McGill Ranked #1 University In Canada

And among top 25 in the world.
McGill Ranked #1 University In Canada

For the 12th year in a row (that’s right, 12th) QS World University Rankings has placed McGill among its top 25 universities in the world, making it the highest ranking university in Canada.

As a McGill student myself, I’d have to say I’m pretty satisfied. Yes, there’s nothing like knowing that you’re going to the best school in the country and getting the best possible education, but there’s also nothing like being able to go home and rub it in the faces of your siblings who may have chosen a lesser school, like University of Toronto which ranked a mere 34th.

After UofT, Canada also had University of British Columbia come in at 50th and University of Alberta at 96th - not too shabby.

QS bases their rankings on research, teaching, employability and internationalization, as well as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty student ratio, citations per faculty, international students and international faculty.
