Video game concerts are all the rage in Montreal these days, thanks to L'Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo. The OJV has had tons of success with their recent SNES orchestra concert, and they're keeping the momentum going with the Star Wars Vs Final Fantasy in collaboration with L'Orchestre à Vents de Musiques de Films. But the OVJV is not stopping there. Come June, get ready the musical console war that will be known as the Xbox vs PlayStation concert.

Master Chief will fire off against Solid Snake, at least in the musical realm, when the OVJ brings together both gaming brands together in a orchestral duel for the ages. No matter where your video game allegiances lie (or if you don't care either way) the concert will recreate the best tracks from some of the biggest games Sony & Microsoft have ever released into musical masterpieces. Expect epic-ness.

To be held on Saturday, June 13th at McGill UNiversity's Pollack Hall, the Xbox vs Playstation concert will serenade your ears at 7:30pm on the dot. All those already too excited for words can get there tickets here (rememberboth SNES concerts sold out) and be sure to check out the trailer below. All those interested can also listen to the tracks from the SNES concert here.
