You know summer in Montreal is on the horizon when we have an awesome upcoming event to tell you guys about literally everyday of the week. Not that we're complaining, we love sharing, and we especially love doing things in the summer. Among the myriad of festivities on our way is the one and only MEG Boat Party setting sail July 25 from the Old Port.
The highlight of Montreal’s Electronic Groove festival, the MEG Boat sways to the waves of the St-Laurence River while you'll be grooving to the moving of more than 3 hours of electro beats. Music at this year's edition will be provide by the uplifting disco & funk beats of Darius, the hyperactive and trademark sounds and remixes of Myd, all of DJ Slow's sleazy techno rawness, and Montreal-based Fonkynson will bring plenty of nu-disco freshness to your ears.
So if you've never partied on a boat before, here's your chance. In the meantime, we'll leave you with some appropriateness from The Lonely Island to get you in the mood.
