Montreal Bars And Clubs Open On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

So, it's Christmas time and you finally got a few days of work but so did everyone else in town! Everything is pretty much closed. Everyone is spending time with their families which is fantastic but, let's be real, that doesn't last all night and you probably need a drink after that. You could also not celebrate Christmas for whatever reason. Luckily a few Montreal bars remain open in order to celebrate Jesus' birthday the right way. Here's a rundown of a few spots open today and tomorrow!
Open on Christmas Eve (December 24th):
BLVD44 - 2108 blvd St-Laurent
One of the very few clubs open on the 24th, Christmas on the Blvd is a tradition! The Blvd44 family invites all the lones wolves to celebrate with them. In holiday spirit, there's no cover fee! Oh and don't forget to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater.
TRH-Bar - 3699 St Laurent
TRH-Bar is throwing a Christmas bash and they'll be having presents and giveaways! Who needs santa when you got DJ Jet Jones from Foxy Fridays playing tunes for you all night? Don't worry it's not Mariah Carey xmas songs.
Circus - 917 rue Ste-Catherine E.
Circus is teaming up with La Maison Du Père! If you bring canned goods for the homeless, you won't have to pay that 10$ cover fee. You'll also be going a good deed for those who have it harder during this time of year.
Next Door Pub - 5175 Rue Sherbrooke W.
For all our NDG folks or anyone who just wants to have a drink or more at a the friendly neighborhood bar, their open on usual hours!
McLeans Pub - 1210 rue Peel
Starting at 8PM, they will be having a comedy show called "Matzo Ball Soup" - with no cover fee and a special kosher food menu.
Le Boudoir - 850 ave Mont-Royal E.
This dive-ish bar is an easy going and laid back place. Great selection of local beers as well as music! They will be open until 3AM on the 24th.
L’Escalier - 552 rue Sainte-Catherine E.
This is place is something else - in a good way! Divided into several rooms this bar feels like someone's big appartement or house. Perfect place to hang out on the 24th. Good vibes and hippie vibes.
Open on Christmas day (December 25th):
Confessionnal - 431 rue McGill
Ceelo, Mykl, Chris Oner, Dag & Tongue B are hosting their 7th annual "Noel Des Losers" at Le Confessionnal- always packed and great time guaranteed! They've been in the nightlife scene for awhile now and they sure do know how to throw a par-tay. Music by Jericho and Donald Lature!
Blizzarts - 3956A boul. Saint-Laurent
Our oh-so fantastic and well known local bar on the main is hosting a special Blizzmas event on the 25th. If this is where you chose to spend the 25th, you know that the night will end up pretty wild. Especially with 30$ bottles of Prosecco - for the orphans and lonely people who want to get fancy drunk for the holidays in the name of baby Jesus.
StereoBar - 856 Ste-Catherine E.
Stereo's new little brother, StereoBar, is throwing an Xmas sweater techno party! You can dance all night to the music to help you digest that huge family dinner you'll be having. Oh, they'll also be serving eggnog... with a little kick hopefully!
Club Peopl - 390 Notre Dame W.
The underground house music club in the old port will be open on the 25th with DJ Avi Large spining some hot beats for you!
La Fleche - 1562 Mont Royal E.
They will be serving their AMAZING and specialized cocktails on their usual Thursday hours - until 3AM! Closed on Xmas? Ain't nobody got time for that.
Clébard - 4557 St-Denis
We love Clébard! The staff and atmosphère is just so friendly and perfect there. They will hosting the 3rd edition of Noël Des Mal Aimés - go on over there and they'll definitely show you some love.
L'Abreuvoir - 403 Rue Ontario E.Why not celebrate Xmas with House, Trap, and Dubstep? EDM Thursdays always gets trashed and crazy.
