The Montreal-Based Web Series All Girls Can Relate To

Over the top characters can be overrated. Yeah I like the Betty Drapers and Khaleesis as much as the next girl, but sometimes I just want to watch someone who relates to me way deep down. Something that makes me feel like I'm not alone in my struggle. When I watch TV now, I normally just feel depressed I don't have dragons.

Well here's a web series for the women of Montreal. Mistakes Were Made is a series that follows the experience of three girlfriends coming in to their own. Montreal is the backdrop, assisting in the drunkenness and debauchery these ladies participate in.

Written, directed and starring Montreal filmmaker, Shanna Roberts Salée, she says that “There’s a special type of anxiety that comes with feeling like everyone around you is better and more put together than you are. Our twenties we’re often just a pile of mistakes waiting to topple over.”
