Montreal's Cirque Du Soleil Is Building The World's Most Insane Theme Park

Forget Disneyland.
Montreal's Cirque Du Soleil Is Building The World's Most Insane Theme Park

Cirque du Soleil may have started as a tiny troupe of street performers, but since its creation in 1984 they evolved to become the most well known circus and the largest theatrical production in the world.

Over the years, the circus has created various worlds filled with larger than life characters. And now the circus is place to house all of these magical creatures.

In 2014 we wrote an article about Cirque du Soleil's plans to build a Theme Park.

Once completed, it will be world's most groundbreaking destination resort.

The plans are being kept pretty secret, but here's what we do know:

The resort is meant to include some luxury hotels.

It will be split into 2 different worlds: The Village of the Sun and The Village of the Moon.

It will also include an outdoor show stage for night time performances.

But that's not all, there will be a nature park. (but since this is Cirque du Soleil, it probably will not include any animals)

Plus, the Goddard Group who is in charge of the project recently released concept drawings for a previously unannounced water park area:

The park is being built in  Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico and is set to open in 2018.

Here's a video with more information about what to expect:
