Montreal Driver Gets Into Horrific Five Car Accident

Montreal police are looking for a motorist whose reckless driving caused extensive damage to public and private property, early today morning.

At 1:30 am, the motorist was spotted driving at more than 100 km/hr on Langelier Blvd. Eventually, near Rosemont Blvd, the car hit a lamppost before ricocheting into five cars that happened to be parked in the vicinity.

The final impact went so far as to rip a wheel on one of the cars.

When police arrived on the scene, the reckless driver was nowhere to be seen.

They did happen to speak to the occupant of the passenger seat, who has been identified as a 20-year-old. The driver's age is reported to be 17.

Several streets around the Langelier/Rosemont area were closed until 9 am, this morning, as police investigated the crash.

It is likely that police will recommend multiple charges, including dangerous driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and failing to provide assistance to an injured person.
