Free coffee seems to be in abundance this week, not that we're complaining. Not only can anyone in the Mile End grab a free cup of Joe at Café Gaspé the rest of the week, but all downtown'ers are also going to be hooked up with some gratis java today and tomorrow thanks to the Montreal Gazette.
Continuing with their coffee container campaign, the Montreal Gazette will be providing your morning caffeine fix today and tomorrow outside of St. James Church (map) until 2pm. The tweet below explains it all:
We're assuming the Gazette is going to keep thingsthe same as last week, in that for you to get your free coffee, you'll first need to download the Gazette's smartphone app. Having just overhauled their online presence, the Gazette is trying to galvanize Montrealers into utilizing the newspaper's online options. Offering free coffee is a good way to do it.
Nab your free cup of coffee courtesy of the Montreal Gazette today and tomorrow outside of St. James Church on St. Catherine and City Councillors (map) until 2pm.
What's better than a delicious latte to give you a little boost during the day? A free one, of course. That's why we're here to let you know that Tunnel Espresso will be officially opening at Time Out Market Montreal on Tuesday, August 10, and will be giving out free coffee all day to its customers.
If you work or live near downtown Montreal, or just love a good freebie, a trip to the Eaton Centre that day is most definitely worth your while.
Tunnel Espresso knows coffee, which is why its roasted coffee beans are sourced from Ethiopia, Colombia, and Brazil.
Along with coffee, the Time Out location will also serve "gobsmackingly good doughnuts and their one-of-a-kind innovation, the 'sconut'; a fried buttermilk biscuit that you won't find anywhere else."
A free coffee plus a tasty donut? Sounds like the perfect day.
