This city is no stranger to art installations. As we speak Montreal is hosting La Boulle Rose and the Floating Art exhibit. But now these art pieces have been taken to a whole new, "fun", level. Montreal is turning into a legit playground. For the past little while, unbeknownst to most, Parc Lafontaine has been host to a gigantic sling shot.
The piece itself is called "Le Proliferateur". It's sculpted from dead poplars, as a tribute to director Frederic Back and his 1987 film, "The Man Who Planted Trees." Oh yeah, and it's 50 feet high. SO COOL I CAN'T CONTAIN MYSELF!
If you want to learn more about "Le Proliferateur", go on over to this joint and read up!
