Montreal Hosting A Caribbean Food Festival This Summer

Montreal is known as being a city with so many different cultures that are intertwined that it's hard to keep count. One of the best ways  to show off your awesome culture is by showing off your food.

Since we have one of the hottest Haitian food scenes outside or Haiti itself, you guys should definitely mark August 18th on your calendars. On that day at Renaissance (7550 Boul Henri-Bourassa E), the best Haitian restaurants and caterers will be strutting their stuff and we cannot wait.

Hell yes the Haitian food in Montréal is worth eating, at least if the griot at Agriköl is any guide. Pork that's been slow-cooked then fried in cubes, served with plantains and the world's spiciest pickles. Also rum. Lots of rum. This place fucking rocks.
