Montreal Hosting Pop-Up "Vegan Market" This Weekend

Montreal sure does have a large variety of vegan restaurants, but a vegan market has been unheard of until now! Yup, this weekend marks the 3rd edition of Montreal's official pop-up vegan market that includes vegan food, products, jewelry, skin care and much more by local sellers.

Entrance is completely free but all the vegan products will be for sale at great prices! It will be taking place this Sunday, September 17th and you can expect nothing but pure vegan happiness and a fabulous time for all.

The Pop-Up Shop Végane is a monthly flea market in Montreal that offers natural, fair and vegan products as well as a program of spiritual activities, all in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.

Boucherie Slovenia, a boulevard Saint-Laurent institution for 50 years, will soon serve its last spicy sausage.

The iconic home of enormous Eastern European-style sandwiches — Slovenian sausage and towering cold-cuts were staples — will close its doors forever on January 29, said the owners, Lourdes Rodrigues and Jean Teixeira, in a Facebook post.
