Montreal Igloofest Tickets For This Weekend Are On Sale Now And For Every Ticket Sold Two Trees Will Be Planted

Igloofest is a Montreal favourite, and for good reason. The annual winter festival offers Montreal residents and tourists alike a good reason to get out of the house during the coldest month of the year.

The thirteenth edition of the festival has brought many famed DJs to the city, from Diplo to Polo and Pan. The fun-filled, nine day event is wrapping up this weekend, so if you haven't had the chance to make it down to the Old Port to dance the cold away, it's now or never!

TL;DR Give-a-Seat is offering discount tickets to this weekend's Igloofest events, selling at $20 instead of $32.

You probably already know that if you don't buy your Igloofest tickets early enough, the prices go up — fast. The tickets for this weekend's performances are now almost $15 more expensive than they were when they first came out.

Luckily, Montreal-based company Give-a-Seat is here to help you stay on budget, while simultaneously giving to a good cause!

How? Event organisers donate tickets to Give-a-Seat, who then sells them through their website. All profits from the sale go to good causes, from environmental efforts to causes to help kids.

Right now, they're selling Igloofest tickets for only $20! Profits go to Arbre-Évolution, a charity that helps foster bonds between humans and forests through preservation efforts.

For every Igloofest ticket sold, the organization will plant two trees, according to the Give-a-Seat website.
